Refresh Your Mind: Counselling for Adults and Young People in London
· Are you experiencing a difficult situation and need some extra support?
· Feeling unmotivated or stuck?
· Overwhelmed?
· Relationship issues?
· Or maybe you just have no idea what you are doing and uncertain about your direction in life?
You’ve come to the right place!
You don’t have to make sense of it on your own.
Your wellbeing is my priority and I am here to provide professional support in a relaxed and personalised therapeutic environment.
Everyone has their own story, which is why it is important to use the right therapy for you. As an integrative counsellor, I tailor my approach based on your individual needs, rather than taking a ‘one size fits all’ approach.
Counselling isn't about giving you a solution or advice, but empowering you to make your own choices and changes. I can appreciate that taking the first step towards counselling can be daunting. Yet, it can be refreshing to share your thoughts with someone impartial, who is not a family member or friend. This is your time and space to explore whatever is challenging you without judgement. I take a collaborative approach to help you gain clarity and improve your wellbeing.
Hi, I’m Rebecca and welcome to my website! I am a qualified and registered British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) Integrative Counsellor. As a BACP member, I adhere to their guidelines and practice within their ethical framework.
In my practice, I bring a fresh perspective in an empathetic and confidential space. My expertise extends across a variety of areas, including anxiety, relationship challenges, childhood trauma, self-esteem, and navigating life changes.
I have also worked with clients from a wide range of backgrounds and cultures and am committed to providing a service that is welcoming to all. I am enthusiastic about counselling and professional development, not only in my work with clients but also as a Lecturer in Counselling within Adult Education
I offer flexible counselling services both online via Zoom and through outdoor walk-and-talk therapy in various locations around West London. (Convenient for W6, W4, TW9 and surrounding areas).
Access therapy from the comfort of your own home online, or enjoy the benefits of nature while discussing your issues. Please feel free to contact me to discuss what suits you best.
Sessions last 50 minutes, typically scheduled at the same time and day each week. Counselling sessions are available during weekdays. I believe therapy should be accessible to all and offer a limited number of concessionary rate places for individuals with financial constraints and students. Feel free to contact me for more details.
I appreciate that counselling is a huge commitment in terms of both time and money, which is why I offer a free, 15 minute introductory consultation by phone. During this call, we can discuss your specific needs and explore whether I am the right therapist to assist you. Please get in touch and I’ll happily arrange a call.
Walk and Talk therapy works in much the same way as indoor or online counselling. It takes place outdoors, making the most of the natural environment and it’s many benefits. As well as supporting your physical wellbeing, walking outside can help you feel calmer, more centred, and provide a fresh perspective. A change of scenery can often lead to a shift in mindset.
Integrative counselling offers a flexible and personalised approach to therapy, drawing on a range of techniques to support your individual needs. Rather than following a single therapeutic framework, it blends different strategies to ensure the process aligns with your unique challenges and goals. This approach gives you the opportunity to explore what works best for you.
1. Contact me to arrange a free, no obligation 15 minute initial phone consultation.
2. During this call, I can answer any questions and discuss the reasons you are thinking of coming to counselling and whether I am the right therapist to help.
3. If you wish to proceed, we can schedule your first counselling appointment.
4. Attend a 50 minute session, either online or walk and talk therapy. During the first session, we will discuss our working agreement, your background and present concerns or goals. You can confidentially share as much or as little information as you feel comfortable sharing.
